Огромный гаучо.

Alimar was a small workshop based in the city of Tandil, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina in the 1950´s.

Its owners were Mr. Alí and Mr. Marquina, thus producing the Alimar brand.

Traditional gaucho knives have handles and scabbards in silver o alpacca, but stag and as this case shows, antelope horn, are quite common also.

A long blade like this (looks 30 cm to me) and thick metal (6 mm) are specifications well considered for gaucho knives.

Вроде бы (если склероз не изменяет), они от европейских кухонников и произошли.
