И было бы хорошо подтянуть к обсуждению в этом разделе профессиональных историков. Полезно все-таки знать корни! В прошлые века, в пределах городской черты или в рамках законов, вводимых в разные времена и в разных странах, запрещалось ношение белого оружия гражданскими лицами. Поэтому развилось короткоклинковое оружие, как сейчас бы сказали - оружие самообороны, которое, иногда скрытно, носили почти все: от бандитов до прекрасных дам. Это были и кинжалы, и длинные складные ножи, и фикседы. Подобное оружие для обеспеченных слоев богато украшалось, поскольку носило так же статусный характер Можно вспомнить ножи игроков, в т.ч. пушдаггеры, ножи проституток, жилетные ножи и т.д. В скандинавских странах и Финляндии этот обычай дожил в сельских районах до начала 20-го века, причем поножовщина была такая, что о наиболее удачливых бойцах слагались песни. Редкая свадьба или праздник обходились без дружеской поножовщины. Можно вспомнить гаучо - испано-индейских метисов в Аргентине и Уругвае, зачастую пастухов, которые носили свои богато украшенные, часто в серебре, ножи даже в туалет. В России также широко использовали холодное оружие - от засапожников до поясных кинжалов, богато украшенных. Сейчас все их подряд называют охотничьими, хотя основное назначение их было - спасти шкуру своего хозяина в различных непредвиденных обстоятельствах. Покажу несколько образцов. 0 Ответить
